Outdoor Pool

It's HOT in Savannah in the summertime and there's nothing like a dip in the pool to help cool you off. The JEA features an Olympic-sized, outdoor pool that's got something for everybody.

Bring the kids . . . we have a tot pool and a fantastic water slide! Pool parties are held every Sunday, poolside. Burgers and hotdogs are grilled for you by the Maccabi kids. Drinks are offered as well.

We even have a plethora of pool toys for added fun.

Both the outdoor and indoor pool are available to rent for parties. Contact us to set up your pool party!

Indoor Pool

Exercise in the Pool!

The JEA offers several exercise classes held in the pool:

Aquasize – A heart and lung pumping aerobic exercise in the indoor pool that is easy on the joints. Instructor:
Stacey Cerone; M, Th, 10-11am
Susan Koide; F 10-11am

Evening Water Aerobics – A heart and lung pumping aerobic exercise that is easy on the joints and helps to improve strength and flexibility. Instructor:
Tiffany Drabek; M,Th 6:30-7:30pm
Maria Hinton; W 6-7pm

If you are a non member and would like to participate in the above classes, you can purchase an 8 session card $50 or a 16 session card for $90.

Lap swimming is available for most of the day. For advanced swimmers, we offer:

Master Swim – An intense workout designed for advanced swimmers.
Instructor: Tony Eichholtz M, W, F 5-6:30am

 

Parent-N-Tot Swimming

A class for Parent-N-Tot together, children enrolled in this class cannot swim yet and must wear a swim diaper if not potty trained. During this class the child will learn to be comfortable in the water, how to float on his/her back, to blow bubbles, and how to crawl out of the pool safely.

Ages: 12 months (walking) - 3 years)

Group 30 minute lessons - 4 lesson commitment
Sundays from 11:00 am - 11:30 am

Sessions run from June 23rd though July 28th.

All Tots need to be accompanied in the water by an adult.
