Fitness Class Descriptions
Aquasize – A heart and lung pumping aerobic exercise in the indoor pool that is easy on the joints.

Billy’s Boot Camp - Challenge YOURSELF! Billy’s Boot Camp will bring a unique style of physical fitness to every one of all levels by providing an exciting athletic and recreational atmosphere with FUN and structure.

Evening Water Aerobics – A heart and lung pumping aerobic exercise that is easy on the joints and helps to improve strength and flexibility.

Extreme Toning – Involves cardio, strength, balance and flexibility, providing a complete exercise experience. Exercises may involve the use of body weight and resistance bands and include modifications allowing exercisers at every level of fitness to receive maximum benefit.

Firm It Up – Lose weight, burn fat & calories; sculpt muscles with aerobics with weights.

Kenpo – It employs a blend of Chinese circular movements and hard linear movements, producing an effective self defense system.

Master Swim – An intense workout designed for advanced swimmers.

Savannah Fencing Club – Join SCAD and Savannah Fencing to learn the art of sword play. Free lessons for members; bring your own mask and gloves.

Range of Motion SS* – This class offers something for everyone, regardless of fitness level, and can help improve overall strength and flexibility - helping you stay healthy and independent. The instructor guides you through the exercises at your own pace.

Cardio Circuit SS*
- Aerobic or cardiovascular exercise is the highlight of SilverSneakers Cardio Circuit. The class features upper-body strength workouts using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and other fun accessories in non-impact aerobic activity. A chair is available for support and easy head-to-toe stretching.Water Exercise SS* - You don’t need to know how to swim in this invigorating SilverSneakers water exercise class, SilverSplash. A SilverSneakers kickboard is used for stability and balance in the water. If you have arthritis or other joint conditions you'll find the water comforting and the non-impact workout stimulating.

Vinyasa Yoga – A flowing class from one yoga asana to the next. Strengthening and stretching the body with a deep mind and body connection. Ending with a relaxing savasana.

Total Body Blast – Get your heart a-pumpin’ with this aerobic workout that uses a mixture of dance, steps, and weights and beyond! Wear comfortable sneakers and be prepared to work it out!

Yoga Flow - Increase your strength, balance and flexibility with all levels yoga that connects poses together in a fluid manner. This class is appropriate for any level; even newcomers can practice, as modifications will be made for individual needs.

Zumba - Popular dance-based workout that combines Latin and International music with a fun and effective workout system. Trust me, you do not have to be an experienced dancer; anyone can Join the Party! Zumba creates fun and repetitive routines for all different fitness levels!
